Sampson’s Legacy Foundation provides economic support for people with disabilities in need through financial aid, scholarships, and grants. 

As just an example:

• Twice a year Sampson's Legacy Foundation awards several academic scholarships to talented students with disabilities. 
• We assist with the purchase of personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a service dog to safely work in a laboratory setting is costly at about $250.00 per set. 
• The annual cost of maintaining a service dog, including food, veterinary care, and supplies, can range from $500 to $10,000. We can provide financial support to ease the burden.
• We assist in purchasing service dog harnesses or vests which can cost over $1000.00.
• We assist with the purchase of disability aids, e.g., wheelchairs, hearing aids, accessible software, walkers, adaptive keyboards, screen readers, prosthetics or orthotics, adaptive utensils, Braille display, and more
• Individuals with mobility aids often need assistance in modifying their home for access with ramps, or specialized building or furniture needs for independence. We can assist with the cost and helping to secure a competent contractor.
• Hiring an advocate, liaison, or legal counsel to assist in discrimination or barrier issues can cost thousands. We have these on staff!

We assist in pinpointing problem areas, identifying solutions, and following through with next steps for an inclusive outcome for all.
