A GuideStar Platinum rating, officially the Platinum Seal of Transparency, is the highest level of recognition from Candid (formerly GuideStar), a nonprofit information organization. To achieve this prestigious status, a nonprofit must complete the requirements for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Seals and then provide detailed quantitative information on its strategy, goals, and measurable progress toward its mission using metrics over time. This Seal signifies a high level of transparency, allowing donors and grantmakers to thoroughly evaluate a nonprofit's impact and performance.
The Platinum Seal shows Sampsons Legacy Foundation's commitment to open communication and sharing in-depth information with the public.
Organizations with this Seal provide evidence of their accomplishments and demonstrate how at SLF are moving our mission forward through metrics.
This award signifies that we have shared our strategic plans, goals, and how we aim to achieve them.
Being awarded the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly Guidestar) is a major testament to the transparency of Sampsons Legacy Foundation. The Platinum Seal of Transparency is a rating that puts us in the top 0.1% of charities nationally in terms of transparency and means that Sampsons Legacy Foundation has shared clear and important information with the public about our goals, strategies, capabilities, achievements and progress indicators.
